A six-lane, access-controlled expressway is being developed to provide high-speed connectivity between Ahmedabad and Dholera SIR. Planned with provisions to expand up to ten lanes in the future, this corridor is designed to support long-term traffic growth, industrial logistics, and smooth regional accessibility. As part of the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), the expressway is recognized as a key infrastructure project supporting economic expansion and mobility in the region.
The project will significantly reduce travel time and enhance connectivity to major industrial zones, business hubs, and residential sectors. This improved access will drive new opportunities for investment, manufacturing, and logistics activity throughout Dholera SIR. Large-scale funding has been allocated for land development, construction, and safety systems to ensure that the expressway is built to national standards.
Once completed, the expressway will support population growth and planned smart-city development across Dholera. It will also strengthen transport links to ports, freight terminals, and major highways, enabling faster movement of goods and improving long-term economic prospects for Gujarat.
